Calibration
FT Laboratories can perform over 400 calibrations, the majority of which are HOKLAS accredited. Our team is experienced in many field instruments.
Testing
We provide a broad spectrum of tests and services, many of which are HOKLAS and HKIA accredited.
Inspection
FT Laboratories’ certified technicians perform weld inspection services at client locations to detect any flaws in the joints of assets, equipment, or machinery. We also provide NDT courses to train and certify your staff in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ASNT and ISO 9712 standards.
Monitoring
FT Laboratories provides and designs remote monitoring systems to study the deformation behavior of the various structures, such as cable-stayed bridges and tunnels.
Building diagnostic
FT Laboratories utilizes its NDT and chemical testing laboratories to provide a comprehensive suite of tests to evaluate the condition of buildings and structures.
Training
We deliver visual inspection training, thanks to experienced welding inspectors qualified to CSWIP/AWS in accordance with British and American standards.
Consulting
We offer expert consultation services on slope stability, foundations, reclamation, soil and rock anchors, non-destructive testing, structural analysis, welding inspections and geotechnical instrumentation.

Calibration Contract with Hong Kong Housing Authority
The Housing Authority adopts a comprehensive quality control system to deliver quality homes for the residents of the public housing developments. The Housing authority targets to provide 310,000 public housing in ten-year period from 2021/2022. To ensure that the buildings meet quality standard and fit for their purposes, the HA employs independent laboratories to sample and carry out test on materials and workmanship. These testing services are procured in form of Term Contracts for periods of 18-24 months period and is managed by the Materials Testing Management Unit (MTMU) under the Development and Construction division of Housing Department.
